Mc Geofrey Mvula is a nurse educator for Global Action in Nursing (GAIN) in Malawi. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Midwifery and a Master of Science in Nursing and Midwifery Education from the University of Malawi. He worked as a ward manager in the maternity department at Zomba Central Hospital in Malawi for over six years before holding a lecturer position in the Department of Midwifery at Malawi College of Health Sciences for two years. He currently works as a GAIN Neonatal Nurse Mentor for Partners in Health (PIH) in Malawi. His profession encompasses clinical care, mentorship, and supervision, training, monitoring and evaluation, program. administration, and collaboration with partners.
Mphatso Sayenda works as a registered Nurse Midwife in Malawi at the Lisungwi Community Hospital. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Midwifery from Kamuzu College of Nursing and is currently studying for a Master of Science in Global Health Implementation at Kamuzu University of Health Sciences. Mphatso is passionate about providing high quality nursing care, achieving health equity and universal health coverage, both locally and globally. She is a nurse mentor with 8 years of experience in Midwifery practice. Mphatso enjoys teaching and working alongside midwives and other health care teams to provide quality maternal and newborn care.
